    1. Logging In

    1. Open your browser and goGo to student.tangaza.ac.ke.ke.
    2. Enter your Registration Number (e.g. the number printed on your admission letter) in the first"Registration Number" field.
    3. Enter your Password in the second"Password" field.
    4. Click "Login." Alternatively, click "Continue with Your School Email" to sign in with your institutional Google account.

    2. Resetting a Forgotten Password

      On the eyelogin iconpage, click "Forgot Password?" On the Reset Password screen, enter your registration (admission) number in the "Reg. Number" field. Click "Reset Password." Check your official Tangaza University email for a reset link and follow it to set a new password. Click "Login" on that screen if you remember your password and want to go back instead.

      3. Dashboard

        After logging in, you land automatically on the Dashboard. Check the top notice for your exam eligibility status and what's outstanding (unit registration, fee clearance, passport photo, lecturer evaluation). Review the summary cards for registered/attempted units and your fee balance. Scroll down to view your personal information and any "Important Documents" posted by the university.

        Academics

        4. Course Registration (Viewing History)

          Click "Course Registration" in the Academics menu. In the history table at the top, find the semester you want to check what you typed.review. Click the"View darkUnits" blueon Loginthat button. Alternatively, click Continue With Your School Emailrow to sign in instantly using your Google-powered school email account.

          Forgot your password? Click Forgot Password? just abovesee the Login button and follow the reset instructions sent to your registered email.

          2. The Dashboard

          The Dashboard is the first screen you see after logging in. Think of it as your control center. It includes:

            Notice banner at the top - shows time-sensitive alerts, such as exam card eligibility or caution notices. Registered Units & Attempted Units cards - a running count of how many units you've registered for andthat attemptedstage/semester. so far.

            5. Registering Units for the Current Semester

              On the Course Registration page, scroll to the "Units Registration" panel. FeeConfirm Statementthe Summary"Registration -Semester" totalfield billed,shows totalthe paid, and yourcorrect current balancesemester. atChoose a glance."Registration Personal Information panel - your name, registration number, ID number, date of birth, and school email, plus a button to update your passport photo. Quick Action Buttons - one-click shortcuts to Course Registration, Timetable, Lecture Evaluation, Exam Card, Fees Statement, Semester Results, and Student Resources.

              Tip: If you only remember one screen, remember the Dashboard. Almost everything you need in a hurry is one click awayType" from the Quickdropdown: ActionNominal Buttons.

              Click any item once - there are no hidden sub-menus, so navigation only ever takes a single click.

              4. Academics Section

              Course Registration

                Open Course Registration from the sidebar.Retake. CheckClick your name, student number, current semester, and programme at the top to confirm you're registering for the right term. Review the list of past registrations shown, including units taken and amounts billed per stage. Follow the on-page instructions: choose a Registration Type, click "Get Units to Register,Register" selectto youropen units,the core unit's popup. Tick the checkboxes next to the units you want, then click "Add Selected Units to the Basket.Basket." ReviewIf youryou baskethave listelective andunits, click Complete Registration to confirm. Use "Get Elective Units to RegisterRegister" instead, tick your chosen electives, and click "Add Selected Units to the Basket." Review everything in the "Basket Unit List" table; remove any unit you don't want using its Action button. Click "View Proforma Invoice" to preview the fee impact of your selected units. Click "Complete Registration" to finalize and submit your registration. Click "Print Course Statement" afterward if you need toa addprinted electives.record.

                Academic Requisitions

                Use

                this page to request documents like transcripts or introduction letters. Click "Academic Requisitions" in the Academics menu. Click "New RequisitionRequisition" to start one,a thenrequest. useFill in the requisition type and details as prompted. Click "Send Approval RequestRequest" to submit itit. andTrack its status in the requisition list table; use "Cancel Approval Request" if you need to withdraw it, or "View Approval StatusStatus" to trackcheck progress.

                8. Lecturers Evaluation

                semester,Click open"Lecturers thisEvaluation" pagein andthe clickAcademics Evaluatemenu. Find the unit you want to evaluate in the list. Click "Evaluate" next to that unit. Complete the evaluation form and submit it. Repeat for each registered unit tolisted. rate your learning experience and lecturer performance.

                Graduation Request & Clearance Request

                These two are only relevant once you're in your final stage of study. If you try to access

                Moodle & MyLoft

                5. Financials Section

                Fees Statement lists every charge and payment posted to your account in date order, with a running balance column and a Print Fee Statement button at the top.

                Receipts lists each paymentsaying you'vere made with its receipt number, date, payment mode, and a Print Receipt button so you can download proof of payment any time.

                Payment Plan shows any installment arrangement set up for your fees.

                Always cross-check your Fees Statement balance before exam time - unpaid balances can affect your Exam Card eligibility shownnot on the Dashboard.

                11. Moodle, MyLoft, and unit names. Use the Download PDF button at the bottom-right of the viewer to save a copy, or the printer icon to print it directly.

                Semester Result Slip and Provisional Results let you check grades once they're released.

                7. Settings

                Change Password is the only item here - use it periodically to keep your account secure, especially if you ever used a temporary password to log in for the first time.

                That's it! With this map of the portal, you should be able to find anything in a couple of clicks. If a page ever shows an unexpected error message, it's usually just telling you that an action isn't available yet for your current stage (e.g. graduation requests before your final semester) rather than something being broken.

                onClick "Moodle" to open the Dashboarduniversity's openslearning anmanagement external site (tangaza.ac.ke) separate from the main portal,system in a new tab. Click "MyLoft" to open the library platform login. Click "View Student Resources" to open the general student resources page on the main Tangaza website.

                Financials

                12. Fee Statement

                  Click "Fee Statement" in the Financials menu. Review the ledger of debits and credits (charges and payments). Click "Print Fee Statement" to generate a printable copy.

                  13. Receipts

                    Click "Receipts" in the Financials menu. Find the payment you want in the list (by receipt number, date, or amount). Click "Print Receipt" next to that entry.

                    14. Payment Plan

                      Click "Payment Plan" in the Financials menu. Click "Create Instalment Plan." Follow the prompts to set up your instalment schedule.

                      Examination

                      15. Exam Card

                        Click "Exam Card" in the Examination menu. Wait for the PDF to generate, showing your photo, registration details, programme, and the units you're cleared to sit. Use the print icon in the viewer toolbar to print it, or the download icon to save it.

                        16. Special Exam Card

                          Click "Special Exam Card" in the Examination menu. This generates a similar authorization card for supplementary or special exam sittings; print or download it the same way as the regular Exam Card.

                          17. Semester Result Slip

                            Click "Semester Result Slip" in the Examination menu. Review the generated PDF showing course codes, titles, credit hours, and grades for a specific semester. Print or download it using the toolbar icons.

                            18. Provisional Results (Provisional Transcript)

                              Click "Provisional Results" in the Examination menu. Review the generated "Provisional Transcript" PDF, which lists course codes, titles, credits, and grades across all completed semesters to date. Print or download it using the toolbar icons. Note that this is unofficial/provisional and not a certified transcript.

                              Account & Profile

                              19. Account Settings

                                Click your name in the top-right corner to open the profile menu. Click "Dashboard" to return to the home screen. Click "Change Password" to update your login password. Click "Logout" to securely end your session when finished.
